Definitions :

Matigyan = Maan + Indriya ke madhyam se jo gyan uttpan hota hai. (Samanya gyan)
Shrutgyan = Matigyan se jane gaye aarth ke sambandh se anya (other) ko jananaa yaa usi vastu ke sambandh me vishesh janana.Vishaish gyan)

Example : Yah laptop hai ye matigyan hai aur laptop se internet access kar sakte hai woh shrutgyan hai.

Kisi bhi chiz ko jane wah matigyan hai, aur uske aache-bure ka vichar, sukh-dukh ka vichar, wah shrutgyan hai. Jaise sparsh karne se hum thunde-garam ka aanubhav kar sakte hai per garam chiz ko sparsh karne se jalan hoti hai, uska sprash hitkari nahi hai, usse dur hatana hai - wah shrutgyan hai.

Types of Shrutgyan:

1) Akshratmak Shrutgyan= Shabdo se jo gyan hota hai vah akshratmak shrutgyan hai, jo chakshu/sparshsendriy se mil sakta he.
2)AanakshratmakShrutgyan= Sprashsendriya/Rasendriya/ghranendriya /chakshu-indriya/man se jo vishesh gyan hota hai vah aanakshratmak shrutgyan hai.
- Ekendraiy se aasngni jiv ko aanakshratmak shrutgyan hi hota hai.
- Sangni Panchaindriy jiv ko dono hote hai.
Shrutgyan ki paradhin (dependent) pravruti :

Matigyan maan , indriy & bahya nimit per paradhin hai; jab tak matigyan nahi hoga shrutgyan ka prashna hi nahi uthta. Isliye shrutgyan maha-paradhin mante hai.
Meaning of Avadhigyan :
kshaitra-kaal ki maryada ke anusar rupi padarth ko janna vaha avadhigyan hai.
Avadhigyan dev & narki me sabhiko hota hai per sangni pachaindriy tiryanch & manushyo me kisi kisi ko paya jata hai, so wah bhi shariradi ke paradhin hai.
Types of Avadhigyan :

1) Deshavadhi gyan = Yeh dev/naraki/manushya/tiryanch ke paaya jata hai. Dev/naraki ka yeh avadhi gyaan ‘bhav-pratyaya’ kahlata hai. Manushya/tiryanch ka yah gyaan ‘gun-pratyaya’ kahalata hai.

2) Permavadhi gyan = yeh sayami muniraaj ke hi paaya jaata hia.

3) Sarvavdhi gyan = yeh bhi sayami muniraj ke hi paya jaata hai.
Parmavadhi gyan, Sarvavdhi gyan aur Manhparyay gyan mokshmarg me hi pragat hote hai, kevalgyan bhi mokshrupi hai, jiska is pancham kal me abhaava hai.

Correction: कर्ण इन्द्रिय से हो, वह ही अक्षरात्मक है, ऐसा नहि. बल्कि शब्द से जो ज्ञान उत्पन्न होता है, वह अक्षरात्मक कहलाता है. सो ऐसा ज्ञान चक्षु व स्पर्शन इन्द्रिय से भी देखा जाता है.

I may have said it wrong in class, but above is the right definition for अक्षरात्मक ज्ञान.
