Upadhyay ka swarup
- Upadhyay ek padvi hey jo jain sadhu ko milati hey. They have the knowledge of many many Jain shashtra (not necessarily 11 ang and 14 purvas) and therefore wo sangh me padhate he aur padhate bhi hey.
- They understand what the purpose of all Jain scriptures is (which is to ignite vitraagta and show mukti marg through aatma sthirta) and because they understand that, they concentrate on their aatma shuddhi.
- Khabhi mand kashay ka uday hone se, they can’t concentrate on aatma dhyan, they will go back to the scriptures and study them again and again.. so they have deeper understanding of the scriptures.

Some qeustions: उपाध्याय के पद पर मुनि को कौन प्रतिष्ठित करता है?
क्या मुनि आचार्य या उपाध्याय बनने की कामना करते है?
One Correction: jo jeev moksh pane ke bahut kareeb hain unhe samipvarti kehte hain => samipvarti bhavya kahte hai.
आचर्य मुनि को उपाध्याय के पद पर प्रतिष्ठित करते है, पर मुनि वो पद की कामना नही करते. ये पद तो आचार्य जी ने दिया हुआ है इसलिए उनकी आज्ञा का पालन करते है.
