In addition to learning about sva and pardravya, understanding siddha ka swarup helps understand the difference between aupadhikbhaav and svabhaav- anything that is a natural quality or characteristic is svabhaav- anything that is acquired or attached is aupadhik. औपाधिक bhaavs are the ones that have been acquired due to the result of karmas. For example, पदवी is something we honor some one with like a title or so- so anything that has been achieved like that or is aupadhik in nature, is not the natural state of aatma. Thus understanding the siddhas helps understand the difference between aupadhik and svabhaav and helps understand the true nature of pure aatma.

Understanding the swarup of siddha, encourages and inspires normal people to become like siddha (siddho ke samaan swayam hone kaa saadhan). They provide an instrument in helping us become like them. Therefore they become a sort of reflection of the ideal state that we should try, aim for and achieve. Additionally, they have become krutkrutya meaning they have done everything that is worth doing. This is the reason why they will remain in the siddha state for anant kaal- since they have done everything and will no longer have any desire to do anything henceforth.

We should therefore worship such complete (nishpann) souls or siddhas.

Acharya, Upadhaya, Sadhu ka saamanya swarup

What does viraagi mean- viraagi means the one who finds sadness and displeasure in the usual worldly matters and finds that things that we normally enjoy like good food, good clothes, relationships etc। are but a source of unhappiness and not happiness. This is a form of belief and is different from vitraagi- vitraagi is a form of charitra (implementation) and is for some one who has over taken raag, dvesh etc.

Viraagi ke teen lakshan :
1> sansaar ke prati udasinta
2> sharir se bhinn hu aisa sochna
3> bhog se virakti - bhog sukh nahi dukh hi laatein hain aisa sochna

What does samast parigrah mean- samast parigrah means parigrah and all the 4 paap sthanaks before that (hinsa, juth, chori, kushil)

What is shuddhopyogrup- there are two types: shuddhopyog rup and shubhopyog rup। Shuddhopyogrup is the higher of the two meanings.

Antarang parigrah is of 14 types:1> मिथ्यात्व 2> 4 types of kashay: krodh maan maya lobh ( subtypes are described below ) 3> 9 types of noashay: 3 ved, hasi, rati , arati, bhay, shoka, जुगुप्सा

4 types of kashay: Anantanubandhi, pratyakhani, apratyakhani and sanjwalan.
